Jackson, MS – Injury Accident on I-55 near Pearl St

Jackson, MS (December 6, 2022) – shortly after 7:00 p.m. on December 6, a car accident was reported to officials in Jackson. Responders were sent to the scene to help those involved and investigate the details of the incident. 

Local reports concerning the crash show that the wreck site was active for over three hours. At least one person was hurt in the collision on Interstate 55 near Pearl Street. 

Two right lanes of the interstate were blocked while emergency crews worked in the area—at least one person required emergency transportation to the hospital due to their injuries.
