Jackson, MS (December 26, 2023) – One man lost his life in a fatal collision while three others sustained injuries in Rankin County. The incident occurred on Thursday morning, December 21, at around 8:35 a.m. The Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to the incident on Highway 25 South near Sandhill Road. A 2016 Ford Explorer, operated by Mary Robertson, 65, of Eupora, was headed south when it left the road and hit a tree. Robertson and two individuals inside her vehicle, all residents of Eurpoa, were transported to UMMC with injuries of an unknown nature. One other passenger, James Talley, of McCool, lost his life in the wreck.
