Jackson, MS (April 25, 2023) – A man identified as 25-year-old Marquavin Watkins lost his life in a four-wheeler accident on Saturday afternoon, April 22. Reports from authorities show he was on an ATV that was involved in a crash with another vehicle.
Information from preliminary investigations shows the crash occurred shortly after 2:30 p.m. near the intersection of 10th Street and Johnson Avenue. According to reports, Watkins was ejected from the four-wheeler.
Paramedics and police promptly responded to the crash scene in order to render aid to those involved. Watkins was taken to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased due to the severity of his injuries.
No one else involved has been identified at this time.
