Jackson, MS (December 14, 2022) – Multiple people suffered injuries in an auto accident reported in Jackson. The incident happened on the afternoon of Sunday, December 11.
Reports indicate the crash occurred near the intersection of Cooper Road and Exchange Road. Four vehicles were involved in the collision that sent at least eight individuals to the hospital with injuries.
A woman who resides near the crash site stated that people often speed through the intersection and drive through the stop light. Officials worked at the scene of the collision for an extended period of time on Sunday.
Traffic was delayed in the area while emergency crews were present. Police asked local drivers to use different routes while responders worked to secure the scene.
