Jackson, MS (January 14, 2023) – A serious car crash left one person with significant injuries in Rankin County. The accident was reported to officials in the area at approximately 8:30 p.m.
According to information from police, the collision occurred on Whitfield Road at the intersection of Greenfield Road. A spokesperson from the Sheriff’s Office in Rankin County said one individual required extrication from their vehicle. That victim had to be airlifted to a hospital for treatment.
At this time, what caused the incident remains unknown. Police in Rankin County continue to investigate whether anyone else suffered injuries.
