Jackson, MS (December 25, 2021) – On Saturday, December 25th, at about 12:10 a.m., local police were dispatched to the scene of an injury-causing car accident in Jackson.
The accident took place on the on-ramp leading from Daniel Lake Boulevard to the northbound lanes of Interstate 55 in Hinds County.
Paramedics and other first responders arrived on the scene to provide any necessary medical treatment or transportation. At least one victim was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition.
The roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
