Jackson, MS (October 27, 2022) – A fatal car accident happened at an intersection in Jackson. It occurred at around 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 20.
Local sources reveal that the wreck happened at the intersection of Terry Road and Dona Street. The woman was identified as Shamerria Smith, age 18. She lost her life after a Ford Explorer struck her Nissan Altima, reports read.
Police in Jackson have not yet reported how the accident occurred, as they continue to investigate.
Traffic was delayed in the area while responders worked to clear the scene and assess the situation. Few other details are currently available to report.
