Jackson, MS (October 27, 2023) – On the evening of October 22, two individuals were ejected from a vehicle in an accident at an intersection in Jackson. Sadly, one person lost their life at the scene, and the other was transported to an area medical center for treatment.
Authorities arrived at the scene at around 7:00 p.m. They found the wrecked vehicle in a dust cloud along with the victims some distance away from the car.
Local police say an SUV with no headlights ran a red light. They attempted to follow the SUV and stop it, however, they were unable to do so due to the speed of the driver. They lost sight of the vehicle and found it crashed a short time later.
