Jackson, MS (February 27, 2023) – On Monday afternoon, January 27, a car accident happened in Jackson that ended in injuries. Reports show the incident took place at around 1:30 p.m.
Authorities say the crash occurred on I-220 at Hanging Moss Road, exit 9. All northbound lanes were blocked while responders worked at the scene.
One or more injured patients were treated by medics and taken to local hospitals to receive further care for their injuries. Their names have not been disclosed at this time.
Authorities in Jackson are still working to figure out how the accident occurred.
