Jones County, MS (November 19, 2022) – A serious auto accident occurred on Friday, November 17, between two vehicles at around 5:30 p.m.
The incident occurred on Mississippi 29 South about a half-mile from Ellisville. Firefighters began rendering aid immediately after arriving at the scene. Two individuals required extrication from their vehicles.
One person involved was airlifted to the emergency room with severe injuries. The other person involved suffered moderate injuries and was transported to the hospital via ambulance.
Jones County Sheriff’s Department deputies along with the Mississippi Highway patrol worked at the scene as well.
