Jones County, MS (March 12, 2024) – A two-car crash occurred in Jones County that took the life of one woman and left a teenager with injuries. Police report the collision occurred at approximately 5:45 p.m. on Monday, March 11, on North Eastabuchie Road. The identities of the involved individuals have not been reported at this time. Two vehicles were involved in the wreck, including a Honda Crosstour operated by a 57-year-old woman and a Nissan Sentra operated by a 17-year-old female. No one else was involved in the wreck. When first responders arrived at the scene, the victim had already succumbed to her injuries and she was pronounced deceased on-site.
