Linwood, MS (December 9, 2021) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Neshoba County claimed one person’s life, according to local authorities. At around 3:30 p.m., on December 7, the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a crash on Highway 15.
Reports from the MHP show that a collision between vehicles occurred on Highway 15 in the area near County Road 438. The incident caused moderate delays in the area as crews worked to clear the scene.
One person involved in the accident suffered fatal injuries. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Two other victims were transported to area hospitals for care.
At this time, the cause of the crash remains under investigation by Mississippi Highway Patrol.
