Lowndes County, MS (March 10, 2024) – A car with no license plate led police on a high-speed chase that ended in a three-car crash that caused injuries.
The incident occurred on Wednesday evening, March 6 at the intersection of the on-ramp to Highway 82 and Military Road. The chase ended with a head-on crash and then the vehicle struck another car before stopping. The driver then fled the scene to a nearby hotel where he was apprehended shortly thereafter. One individual was hurt in the crash, however, their name has not been reported at this time. Police in Lowndes County are still investigating the circumstances of the incident.
