McComb, MS (February 8, 2022) – On Tuesday morning, February 8, a FedEx truck accident occurred in McComb that led to injuries.
Mississippi Highway Patrol officials confirmed that the accident happened in the early morning hours in the southbound lanes of I-55 around the area of mile marker 16. A FedEx truck was traveling in the area when it suddenly collided with one or more passenger vehicles in the area. The vehicles sustained heavy damage as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their identities and conditions are not yet known.
