Moselle, MS (July 01, 2022) – A woman was killed in a collision on Moselle-Seminary Road at Stewart Drive in Moselle on Thursday, June 30th.
The Jones County Coroner’s Office said that the victim, 49-year-old Brenda Carlisle-Guinn, a resident of Ellisville, died at the scene. Police have notified her next-of-kin.
According to the Jones County Sheriff’s Department, the collision involved a passenger vehicle driven by Carlisle-Guinn and an 18-wheeler.
Deputies said that the driver of the tractor-trailer, which was registered to M Robinson Tractor-Trailering LLC out of Morton, was taken by EMServ Ambulance Service to South Central Regional Medical Center for treatment of non-critical injuries.
The sheriff’s department is investigating the incident.
Volunteer fire units from Southwest Jones, South Jones, and Moselle, as well as EMServ Ambulance Service, responded to the scene in addition to multiple JCSD units.
