Mississippi Auto Accidents
Thousands of people are injured in auto accidents each year in Mississippi. The types of injuries people sustain vary greatly, from severe whiplash and broken bones to spinal cord injuries and brain damage.
Broken bones are some of the most commonly seen types of injuries that result from severe auto accidents. While a person can break virtually any bone in their body when they’re involved in a crash, most often we see fractures that occur in the legs, ribs, and arms. These breaks can be very painful and difficult to heal from and often require surgery and long stays in the hospital.
Spinal cord damage is another common injury seen in auto accidents. Damage to the spinal cord can range from a minor injury like a herniated disk to a severe injury that completely paralyzes the victim.
Soft tissue injuries are also commonly seen in auto collisions. These usually happen in the neck, back, abdomen, and shoulders.
