Car Accidents in Mississippi
Each year, car accidents have a negative impact on the lives of thousands of people in the state of Mississippi. There are many causes of car accidents in Mississippi. Unfortunately, many of them involve acts of negligence on behalf of reckless drivers.
Speeding is one of the leading causes of car accidents. It’s important to always obey the posted speed limit and drive at a speed that is safe for the conditions. Driving too fast makes it difficult to stop or maneuver if something unexpected happens.
Driving while intoxicated is another major cause of car accidents. Alcohol and drugs can impair your ability to drive. People who are under the influence of drugs or alcohol are often unable to control their vehicles in order to avoid crashes.
Distractions are another major cause of car accidents. It’s important to pay attention to the road when you’re driving. We often see crashes take place due to drivers who are texting, talking on the phone, or distracted by people inside their vehicles.
