Oxford, MS (September 13, 2022) – A serious car crash happened on Jackson Avenue on the afternoon of September 13. At approximately 5:20 p.m., emergency crews including police, EMTs, and fire crews were dispatched to the scene to render aid to those involved.
At least one person was hurt in the wreck that occurred for reasons still under police investigation. Police reported that the crash happened in the 1900 block of Jackson Avenue near CVS.
The number of vehicles involved was not reported. Police are working to determine the details of the wreck.
Paramedics provided aid to injured parties on-site and transported those needing extensive medical care to local hospitals. Few other details are available to report at this time.
