Oxford, MS (September 29, 2022) – A major motor vehicle accident occurred in Oxford on the morning of September 29. At approximately 9:45 a.m., responders were sent to the crash site to help those involved.
At least one person was hurt in the crash that occurred in the 100 block of Charger Loop near Oxford High School. At this time, the total number of injured victims has not been reported.
Emergency crews including medical personnel, police, and fire crews were dispatched to the crash site to help those who sustained injuries in the accident.
Currently, those involved have not been identified. Authorities in Oxford are still investigating the circumstances of the collision.
Traffic was backed up in the vicinity of the wreck site while first responders worked in the area. At this time, police in Oxford are still investigating the details of the incident.
