Oxford, MS (April 8, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a car accident that took place on a roadway in Oxford on Friday afternoon, April 8.
According to the Oxford Police Department, the accident happened at 2:15 p.m. at 501 Bramlett Boulevard in front of Chaney’s Pharmacy. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hurt as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
