Oxford, MS (September 2, 2022) – Shortly after 10:00 p.m. on the evening of September 1, a car crash happened in Oxford. The incident was reported to officials in the area at around 10:05.
Sources say the accident occurred on Van Buren Avenue near Tallahatchie Gourmet. At least one person was treated at the scene for injuries.
Currently, what caused the collision has not been reported. Authorities in Oxford continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
Traffic was delayed in the area while police worked to secure the scene. One or more people were taken to area hospitals for treatment.
