Oxford, MS (February 10, 2022) – Injuries stemmed from a car accident that took place on a roadway in Oxford on Thursday afternoon, February 10.
Oxford Police confirmed that the accident happened around 2:15 p.m. at 101 Creekmore Boulevard in front of the Campus Creek Apartment complex. One or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they suddenly collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the collision. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their identities and conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the collision, a large portion of the roadway was blocked for a period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
