Oxford, MS (December 7, 2021) – At 9 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, December 7, a car accident occurred on a roadway in Oxford.
According to Oxford Police, the accident happened at 2008 Harris Drive in front of the Animal Clinic of Oxford. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when the vehicles collided forcefully with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the accident remains ongoing at this time.
