Oxford, MS (December 22, 2021) – At 6:27 p.m. on the evening of Wednesday, December 22, a car accident with injuries occurred in Oxford.
According to the Oxford Police Department, the accident happened at 1901 Jackson Avenue around the area of Renasant Bank. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident had to be towed from the scene due to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries in the crash. The injured parties, who have not yet been identified, were hospitalized with unknown injuries.
Due to the severity of the accident, a large portion of the road was blocked in the area for some time.
