Oxford, MS (January 4, 2022) – On Tuesday, January 4, a car accident with injuries occurred on a roadway in Oxford.
According to the Oxford Police Department, the accident happened around 12:40 p.m. at 1741 University Avenue. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other in the area of the local Burger King. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result of the collision.
Numerous responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
Due to the severity of the accident, a large portion of the roadway was blocked in the area for some time.
