Oxford, MS (August 18, 2022) – A major motor vehicle accident happened in Oxford on the morning of August 18. At approximately 7:15 a.m., police and paramedics responded to the scene to render aid.
Sources report the incident occurred on County Road 101 when an undisclosed number of cars collided. Police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
Ambulances, police cars, and other emergency vehicles were seen in the area rendering aid to injured parties. At least one person was hurt in the collision.
Paramedics treated injured victims on-site and transported extensively injured patients to local hospitals for further care. The names of the injured parties were not reported.
Police continue to investigate the details of the crash.
