Oxford, MS (January 11, 2022) – On Tuesday morning, January 11, a car crash with injuries occurred on a roadway in Oxford.
Oxford Police confirmed that the accident happened at 10:35 a.m. on Douglas Drive. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more lost control, causing the vehicles to collide forcefully with one another. The involved vehicles sustained heavy damages and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the collision. The injured parties were hospitalized with unknown injuries.
Due to the severity of the collision, a large portion of the roadway was blocked for some time.
