Oxford, MS (February 7, 2022) – On Monday morning, February 7, a car crash with injuries took place on a roadway in Oxford.
According to Oxford Police, the accident happened on Azalea Drive at 11:25 a.m. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other in the area due to reasons that are not fully known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Several people sustained injuries as a result of the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
Due to the severity of the collision, a portion of the roadway was blocked in the area for some time.
