Oxford, MS (February 3, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a car crash that took place on a roadway in Oxford on Thursday afternoon, February 3.
Oxford Police confirmed that the collision happened at 703 Sisk Avenue in front of the local Wendy’s restaurant. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when one lost control, causing the vehicles to collide with each other. The involved vehicles were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
