Oxford, MS (October 11, 2021) – At 4:15 p.m. on the afternoon of Monday, October 11, a car crash with injuries occurred on a roadway in Oxford.
According to the Oxford Police Department, the accident happened at 107 Courthouse Square in City Hall. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they suddenly collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
