Oxford, MS (February 14, 2022) – Around 2:50 p.m. on Monday afternoon, February 14, a car crash with injuries took place on a roadway in Oxford.
According to Oxford Police, the accident happened around 2:50 p.m. at 715 Molly Barr Road in front of the Oxford Police Department. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries.
Due to the severity of the collision, the roadway was blocked in front of the police station for a period of time. Police worked to quickly clear the scene.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
