Oxford, MS (March 13, 2022) – On Sunday afternoon, March 13, injuries were reported in a car accident that took place on a roadway in Oxford.
Oxford Police confirmed that the accident happened at 12:40 p.m. on Belk Boulevard. Police confirmed that several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result of the collision.
Several local responders, including Oxford paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained serious injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries. Their identities and conditions are not yet known.
