Oxford, MS (March 28, 2022) – Around 11:25 p.m. on the night of Saturday, March 26, a car accident with injuries took place on a roadway in Oxford.
According to Oxford Police, the accident happened at 102 Ed Perry Boulevard in front of the local Conference Center. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not entirely known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries in the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their identities and conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
