Oxford, MS (December 9, 2021) – On December 8, the Oxford Police Department was requested at the scene of a motor vehicle accident that ended in injuries.
Preliminary investigations show that at around 6:20 p.m., a collision between vehicles occurred on North Lamar Boulevard. The incident prompted law enforcement officers to close off a section of the roadway as they worked to clear the scene.
Emergency medical services responded to the scene of the crash to treat victims who sustained injuries. An unknown number of people were transported to local hospitals for further care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation by the police in Oxford.
