Oxford, MS (January 4, 2022) – At 11:15 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, January 4, a car crash with injuries occurred on a roadway in Oxford.
Oxford Police confirmed that the accident happened in the late morning at South 18th Street. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when one lost control, causing it to collide with a second vehicle. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Several responders, including local paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time.
