Oxford, MS (March 15, 2022) – At 4:50 p.m. on the afternoon of Tuesday, March 15, a multi-vehicle collision with injuries happened in Oxford.
According to Oxford Police, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of MS-7. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more lost control, causing the vehicles to forcefully collide with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged due to the accident.
Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hurt in the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the collision, a large portion of the roadway was blocked in the area.
