Oxford, MS (April 10, 2022) – At 6:15 p.m. on the evening of Saturday, April 9, a car accident with injuries took place on a roadway in Oxford.
According to Oxford Police, the accident happened on South 9th Street. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more collided with each other due to reasons that are not entirely known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries in the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
