Oxford, MS (September 1, 2022) – An auto accident in Oxford required an emergency dispatch on the afternoon of August 31. At around 6:00 p.m., police and other responders were dispatched to the scene to render aid to those involved.
At least one person was hurt in the wreck that happened in the 1700 block of Burney Branch Road. An unknown number of cars crashed in the area for reasons still being investigated by authorities.
Ambulances, police cruisers, and other emergency vehicles were observed in the area a short time after the incident occurred. Injured victims were transported from the scene to local hospitals to be treated for their wounds.
