Oxford, MS (June 3, 2022) – At approximately 1:40 p.m. on June 1, a car wreck was reported in Oxford that required an emergency dispatch. The incident took place on Jackson Avenue West, according to reports.
Local authorities and other responders were observed in the 2500 block of Jackson Avenue West near the Shoe Department for reports of a serious car crash.
Numerous responders were sent to the scene. At least one person was in need of emergency medical attention after the accident occurred.
Paramedics rendered emergency medical aid to those who were injured at the crash scene. How many people had to be transported to the hospital for further care remains unknown at this time.
The involved parties have not been identified at this time. Police in Oxford continue to investigate the details of the wreck.
