Oxford, MS (June 22, 2022) – A car crash was reported on the evening of June 21 in Oxford that required an emergency dispatch. Various responders were sent to the scene around 8:00 p.m. to help those involved.
The incident happened in the 800 block of North Lamar Boulevard between Elliott and Britt Engineering. What led up to the crash currently remains under police investigation.
One or more people were sent to the hospital as a result of the injuries they sustained in the accident. The identities of the involved parties remain unknown at this time.
Traffic was delayed in the area while police worked to secure the scene. Local motorists were forced to find different travel routes while the crash site was active with responders.
