Oxford, MS (August 31, 2022) – On the afternoon of August 31, responders in Oxford were sent to the scene of an injury accident. The wreck was reported to officials in the area at around 4:00 p.m.
Sources say the crash happened on North Lamar Boulevard between an unknown number of vehicles. At least one person was injured in the collision, however, what led to the incident remains under police investigation at this time.
Traffic was delayed in the area while emergency crews worked to clear the road. Police urged local motorists to use different travel routes while the scene was active with responders.
