Oxford, MS (December 1, 2021) – At 5 p.m. on the evening of Wednesday, December 1, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred in Oxford.
According to the Oxford Police Department, the accident happened at 430 South Lamar Boulevard around the area of the local Abner’s. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to unknown reasons. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the collision. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not known at this time.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in several lanes for an extended period of time.
