Oxford, MS (December 20, 2021) – At 3 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, December 19, a car accident with injuries occurred on a roadway in Oxford.
According to the Oxford Police Department, the accident happened on Price Street. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not fully known. The vehicles involved in the accident sustained severe damages and had to be towed away from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One person, who has not yet been identified, sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured party was hospitalized, though their condition is not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
