Oxford, MS (August 18, 2022) – A car wreck happened in Oxford on Wednesday, August 17. At approximately 5:55 p.m., sources say the incident occurred on Anderson Road.
First responders were sent to the crash site, located in the 2400 block of Anderson Road, to render aid to the involved parties. One or more injured victims were treated at the scene before being taken to local hospitals by ambulance.
The names of the injured victims have not been reported at this time. The road was closed while police and other emergency crews worked to clear the area and assist those with injuries. Authorities in Oxford continue their investigations into the details of the accident.
