Oxford, MS (July 27, 2022) – At approximately 10:00 a.m. on July 27, responders were sent to the scene of a car accident in Oxford. According to reports, the incident happened on South Lamar Boulevard.
Local police and paramedics were observed at the crash scene a short time after it happened. Sources say the wreck occurred in the 2100 block of South Lamar Boulevard near the Oxford Dental Clinic.
An unknown number of cars were involved in an auto accident that caused injuries. Multiple responders were seen helping those with injuries at the scene.
At least one person was loaded into an ambulance and transported from the crash site to a local hospital for treatment. The extent of the injuries suffered in the crash was not reported.
At this time, police continue to investigate the circumstances of the wreck.
