Oxford, MS (December 14, 2021) – At 7:25 p.m. on the evening of Monday, December 13, a two-vehicle crash occurred on a roadway in Oxford.
According to Oxford Police, the accident happened on Commodore Drive. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not fully known. It is believed that one of the vehicles may have lost control at the time of the accident. The accident led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area for some time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
