Pearl, MS (February 8, 2023) – One person lost their life in a fatal traffic accident in Pearl on Friday evening, February 3. Reports show the crash happened on Interstate 20.
Sources say the accident took place near the Pearson Road Exit in the eastbound lanes of I-20. The driver who lost his life was identified as Ryan Munoz of Smith County.
Authorities say Munoz was involved in a rear-end crash with the vehicle in front of him. He lost his life at the scene. The other driver sustained no injuries in the accident.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
