Picayune, MS (August 10, 2023) – A serious car crash happened in Pearl River County on the afternoon of August 9. At around 4:11 p.m., emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of the incident on Interstate 59.
Responders including EMTs, police, and other emergency crews were observed rendering aid at the scene. At least one person was hurt in the crash and taken to the hospital in order to receive the appropriate treatment.
The accident happened on Interstate 59 near US 11 North for currently undetermined reasons. Authorities in Pearl River blocked the roadway while emergency crews were present.
