Pelahatchie, MS – Update: Young Boy Killed in Fatal ATV Crash on Rehobeth Rd

Pelahatchie, MS (May 31, 2023) – As previously reported, a serious accident between an ATV and a vehicle happened in Pelahatchie on Sunday afternoon, May 28. Two children were severely hurt in the crash, including a 6-year-old boy and a 10-year-old girl. 

Sadly, the young boy lost his life due to the severity of his injuries. The young girl is hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in critical condition, investigators said. 

The accident occurred on Rehobeth Road for reasons still under police investigation. Police say the two young children were driving an ATV when they were hit by a vehicle.
