Philadelphia, MS (March 25, 2022) – Around 12:10 p.m. on the afternoon of Friday, March 25, a two-vehicle collision took place in Philadelphia, Mississippi.
According to Neshoba County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of CR-535 and Highway 486. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, causing the vehicles to collide forcefully with one another. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result of the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hurt as a result of the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their identities and conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene so traffic could resume as normal.
